Here is every actor returning for BH90210. The unique revival of Beverly Hills, 90210 reunites the original cast of the hit Fox series that ran from 1990-2000. A bonafide phenomenon in its time, 90210 helped define the Fox Network and turned the actors into teen idols during the 1990s. However, BH90210 isn’t just another reboot of a popular canceled TV series.
In BH90210, the core cast of the original 90210 return to portray “heightened versions of themselves” who are setting out to launch a reboot of Beverly Hills, 90210. The new is series is a scripted, mock-reality show inspired by the cast’s real-lives and relationships. The idea of doing a reality-based reboot came to creators Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling after Ian Ziering pitched a similar idea (to no network interest) to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 90210 in 2000. All of the main actors signed on to BH90210, including Luke Perry, who promised to do “as many episodes as he could” due to his commitments to Riverdale. Shannen Doherty was not originally set to return but, after Perry’s death in March, joined BH90210 in part to honor Perry’s memory.
BH90210 will reference the original series but will ignore the 90210 reboot that aired on The CW from 2008-2013. In addition to the seven primary lead actors, some other familiar faces from Beverly Hills, 90210 also joined the revival, which promises to add to the nostalgia for longtime fans of the gang from West Beverly High. Here’s the confirmed cast coming back for BH90210.
