Mike Darrah, an executive producer at BioWare, has begun teasing some sort of Dragon Age announcement – unless he’s simply just toying with the hopes of fans. This comes after a report that BioWare’s most recent title, Anthem, is in the process of a re-launch of sorts that will attempt to get the game back into the hands of players. While details on that reported development are limited, fans are well aware of one title that’s in the works from the studio.

In particular, the game that players are already well aware is in active development is Dragon Age 4, a title that was first announced last year at the annual The Game Awards ceremony. Ever since the reveal, players haven’t really had much to go on. This led some to question if the game was in jeopardy, but BioWare has been proactive in dismissing these concerns whenever they arise. Outside of those, the developers aren’t against teasing an update on Dragon Age 4 whenever the mood strikes them either.

For example, Mark Darrah recently took to Twitter to simply tweet two words which have immediately excited fans. Those two words are fittingly “Dragon” and “Age,” which many believe indicate that more details on the long-anticipated Dragon Age 4 are finally on the verge of being revealed. Of course, it’s possible that Darrah is also just toying with fans.

Perhaps a new Dragon Age 4 trailer is getting preppared to debut at The Game Awards 2019. The event is only two weeks away as of this writing, so such a development wouldn’t exactly be shocking. Alternatively, it’s possible that Darrah is simply tweeting this to get his jollies. Everyone is already well aware that a new Dragon Age game is in development, so it’s not exactly a fireable offense for a BioWare employee to simply tweet out the name of a franchise. In truth, it would be quite comical if all of this hubbub and excitement led to nothing happening in the near future.

Outside of Dragon Age, BioWare has teased a new Mass Effect game. Of course, this likely won’t be arriving for quite some time after Mass Effect: Andromeda ended up being a massive flop – putting the entire franchise on ice. On the brightside, BioWare still has Anthem improvements and Dragon Age 4 on the go, so fans of the developer have a few things to look forward to in the future.
